Overview of Immigration by Giuliana Valencia-Banks, Immigration Affairs Outreach Coordinator for Baltimore County Government. U.S. immigration law is complex. During the Immigration 101 presentation, attendees will learn about the history of immigration law, common immigration concepts, and how the system works. The presentation also covers not only the basics of immigration status and how to gain citizenship but also the statistics, myths, and facts of immigration in Baltimore County and the United States. Attendees will also have an opportunity to learn about the challenges and opportunities faced by our new neighbors. Registration is required.

Directions From Bel Air: (approximate drive time - 40 minutes)
I 95 (South) to I 695 (South - Essex). I 695 to exit 39 Merritt Blvd. Merritt Blvd to Holabird Avenue. Turn Right onto Holabird Avenue. The Ateaze Senior Center is approximately ΒΌ mile on the left (it is an old school).
From Frederick: (approximate drive time - 55 minutes)
I 70 (East) to I 695 (South/East - Glen Burnie). I 695 to I 95 (North (Baltimore/New York). Go through the Fort McHenry Tunnel. I 95 to Dundalk Avenue (Bear Right onto Dundalk Avenue). Turn Left onto Holabird Avenue. The Ateaze Senior Center is approximately 1 mile on the right (It is an old school).
From Annapolis: (approximate drive time - 45 minutes)
I 97 (North) to I 895 (North/East). Go through the old Harbor Tunnel. I 895 to Holabird Avenue (first exit) Proceed straight ahead. The Ateaze Senior Center is approximately 2 miles on the right (It is an old school).
