Baltimore County government offices, and the District and Circuit Courts will be closed on Monday, December 24, Tuesday, December 25, and Tuesday, January 1, in recognition of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays. Health Department clinics and senior centers will also be closed and CountyRide vans will not operate.
All branches of the Baltimore County Public Library will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, but are open on New Year’s Eve until 5:30 p.m. Parking meters are free on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and on New Year’s Day, but must be fed on New Year’s Eve. The courts are closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, but are open on New Year’s Eve.
No trash or recycling collection on Christmas and New Year’s Days and drop-off centers will be closed; collections will occur on Monday, December 24
Collections of all types may occur later than usual during the last week of December and the first week of January, because more material must be collected in fewer collection days. If a collection does not occur on the scheduled day during this period of time, the materials should be left out until collection occurs.
Trash and recycling drop-off facilities, including the Eastern Sanitary Landfill in White Marsh, will be closed on Tuesday, December 25, and Tuesday, January 1. The drop-off centers will be open on December 24. All three drop-off facilities will be open with regular operating hours on December 31.

The app is offered free of charge to Android and iPhone users and may be downloaded from their respective app stores.
