Baltimore County to Hold Public Hearing for Solid Waste Regulation Changes
The Baltimore County Department of Public Works & Transportation (DPWT) is proposing revisions to the Bureau of Solid Waste Management’s (BSWM) “Regulation for Baltimore County Residential Trash and Recycling Collection” regarding bulk item collection and yard material set-out requirements.
For community input, a public hearing will be held on Monday, October 24, at 6 p.m. The hearing will take place at the Towson Library Meeting Room, located at 320 York Road in Towson. County representatives will be present at the hearing to accept questions and comments.
Copies of the proposed regulation revisions are available for review on the web at baltimorecountymd.gov/SolidWasteRegulations, from the BSWM directly (recycle@baltimorecountymd.gov or 410-887-2000), and at every branch of the Baltimore County Public Library system.
In addition to the hearing, persons may send written comments on the proposed revisions to Nicholas Rodricks, Chief, Bureau of Solid Waste Management, 111 West Chesapeake Avenue, Room 211, Towson, Maryland, 21204 or recycle@baltimorecountymd.gov. Comments must be received by November 7, 2022.
