Baltimore County Offices Closed on Monday, July 4 for Independence Day
Baltimore County government offices will be closed on Monday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
Department of Health COVID-19 testing and vaccine sites will be closed, and CountyRide vans will not operate. All branches of the Baltimore County Public Library will be closed and parking meters free on the holiday.
Trash, single stream recyclables and yard materials will not be collected in Baltimore County on Monday July 4. Collections scheduled on or after July 4 will shift and occur one day later:
- Monday collections shift to Tuesday
- Tuesday collections shift to Wednesday
- Wednesday collections shift to Thursday
- Thursday collections shift to Friday
- Friday collections shift to Saturday
Schedules are available on the Bureau of Solid Waste Management’s website, by calling 410-887-2000, or on the County’s free BaltCoGo mobile app.
Collections of all types may occur later than usual during the week following Independence Day. If a collection does not occur on the scheduled day during this period of time, materials should be left out until collection occurs.
Trash and recycling drop-off centers will be closed on Monday, July 4, and will reopen on Tuesday, July 5.
