DENTAL ACCESS AND REFERRAL PROGRAMS
The Public Health Dentistry office provides several referral programs for Baltimore County residents and maintains a list of dentists who treat residents who are physically and mentally limited, homebound, nursing homebound and the general public.
The Dental Access Program is a joint-referral program between the Baltimore County Department of Health and the Baltimore County Dental Association. To qualify, you may not have any form of dental insurance or third party financial assistance and must meet financial guidelines. Those who qualify can receive a discounted fee for services provided by private participating general dentists and specialists.
These programs are available to all County residents and can be used to help locate a private dentist for their continuing dental care after their course of treatment at a County dental clinic is completed
