ABOUT THE COMMANDER
Captain Joseph Jamerson began his career with the Baltimore County Police Department in 1997 at the Wilkens Precinct as a patrolman.
- 2002—Became a detective assigned to the Wilkens Community Drug and Violence Interdiction Team
- 2005—Promoted to corporal and assigned to the Woodlawn Precinct
- 2007—Promoted to sergeant of the Woodlawn Precinct
- 2010—Promoted to lieutenant and assigned to the Essex Precinct. After being assigned to an Essex patrol shift, he assumed the role of the assistant precinct commander.
- 2022—Promoted to captain and assigned to the Franklin Precinct
