About the commander
Captain Brandon Rogers started his career with the Baltimore County Police Department in July of 2001 as a police cadet assigned to the Cockeysville Precinct. Over the last 23 years, he has worked in many different assignments. He worked as a patrol officer and detective in the Dundalk Precinct from 2002 until 2008. In 2008 he was assigned as a detective to the Vice Narcotics Section. In 2010 he was promoted to Corporal and assigned to the Woodlawn Precinct. In 2011 he was promoted to Sergeant. As a Sergeant, he served in several assignments including the Wilkens Precinct, the White Marsh Precinct and the Vice Narcotics Section. In 2015 he was promoted to Lieutenant and assigned to the Towson Precinct where he served until his promotion to Captain in 2018.
Since being promoted to Captain, Captain Rogers has served as the Pikesville Precinct Commander, Criminal Investigations Bureau Crimes Against Persons Section Commander, the Criminal Intelligence and Homeland Security Commander, and the Vice Narcotics Section Commander. Captain Rogers is also a 2024 graduate of the FBI National Academy, Session 289.
Captain Rogers is excited to return to the White Marsh Precinct and to work with the various communities in the area.
