Shooting Investigation in Woodlawn
The Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a shooting after two victims walked into local hospitals. Around 3:00 a.m., on June 11, officers responded to a local hospital for a call of a walk-in shooting victim after an 18-year-old male walked into the hospital suffering a gunshot wound to the lower body. Shortly after officers received another call for a 17-year-old female who was also suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower body. The preliminary investigation indicates that the shooting occurred in the 1700 block of Woodlawn Dr, 21207. Both appear to have non-life-threatening injuries. As detectives continue to investigate this incident, they are asking anyone with information about this crime or those responsible to please contact 410-307-2020. Information may also be provided through the Baltimore County Police Department iWATCH program. Callers may remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward when submitting tips through Metro Crime Stoppers.
