Fatal Shooting of Family Pet Under Investigation

On July 13, 2023, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Baltimore County Police Officers from Precinct 3 – Franklin responded to the 4300 block of Flint Hill Drive, 21117. When officers arrived, they discovered a deceased animal suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The dog's owner, who reported hearing a gunshot, stated the animal was off his leash at the time. A picture of Mowgli is attached. The Baltimore County Police Department and Metro Crime Stoppers are asking anyone with information about this case or the person(s) responsible to contact 1-866-756-2587 or 410-307-2020. Callers may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.00. Callers may remain anonymous.
