Arrest Made in Deadly Assault

UPDATE October 21, 2023

Homicide detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department arrested 55-year-old Gregory Hare in the fatal assault that occurred Monday, October 16, 2023, shortly after 10 p.m., in the Unit block of Eastern Blvd., 21221. 

Hare remains held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center charged with first-degree murder. Gregory Hare surrendered to officers on Friday, October 20, 2023.

Homicide detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal stabbing that occurred Monday, October 16, 2023. Shortly after 10 p.m., officers responded to the Unit block of Eastern Blvd., 21221, in reference to a reported assault. When officers arrived, they located 63-year-old Keith Yeager suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

As detectives continue to investigate, they ask anyone with information pertinent to the case to contact 410-307-2020.
