Subject Sought in Attempted Sexual Assault

On Thursday, November 16, 2023, at approximately 8:25 a.m., officers with the Baltimore County Police Department responded to the entrance of Red Run Valley Stream Trail located in the 10600 block of Red Run Boulevard in Owings Mills, 21117, in reference to an attempted sexual assault that occurred. According to the female survivor, a black male subject with a thin build between 18 and 25 years old, who stands about 5'7" to 5'9", approached her along the trail around 8:15 a.m. and attempted to assault her sexually. The preliminary information obtained by detectives indicates this incident is not related to the homicide that occurred along the Ma and Pa Trail in Harford County in August. At this time, the subject is not believed to be the same person. As detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department search for the subject responsible for this crime, they ask anyone who may work or reside near Red Run Valley Stream Trail to review camera footage that may have recorded the subject between 7:00 and 8:30 a.m. Information regarding this crime and the person responsible may be provided by calling 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587.
