Shooting Investigation Leads to Three Arrests
Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit of the Baltimore County Police Department arrested a 16-year-old, 17-year-old, and 19-year-old Alexis Chavarria-Valencia in the non-fatal shooting that occurred Sunday, February 4, 2024. At approximately 5:15 p.m., officers assigned to the Baltimore County Police Department White Marsh Precinct responded to the 6000 block of Marquette Rd., 21206, for a shooting. Once on scene, officers located a 16-year-old male who sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the lower body. The teenager was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
The 16 and 17-year-old suspects were both charged as adults in this case. All arrestees remain held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center, charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and other firearms-related charges.
