Manner of Death Update in Oregon Ridge Trail Investigation
UPDATE (March 21, 2024)
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has conducted an autopsy and ruled the manner of death a suicide.
ORIGINAL (March 18, 2024)
Just before 4 p.m. Sunday, the Baltimore County Police Department responded to the Oregon Ridge Trail., 21030. Officers were called to the location in reference to a body that had been discovered off the trail. The decomposing body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death. Currently, the identity of the male is unknown. It appears this is an isolated incident, there is no active threat to the community.
