Barricade Ends in Dundalk
At approximately 7:30 a.m., officers assigned to our Dundalk Precinct responded to the 2500 block of Gray Manor Terrace, 21222, in reference to a prior firearms discharge. As officers were investigating that call, they began to be fired upon by a nearby resident. Officers returned fire and called for a barricade. The armed subject was later found deceased inside the home with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Representatives from the Harford County Sheriff's Office, Baltimore Police Department, Maryland State Police, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigation assisted in bringing closure to today's incident. Currently, this remains an ongoing investigation. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
No officer or member of the community was injured during this incident.
