Circumstances Surrounding Fatal Pedestrian Crash Remain Under Investigation

Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department’s Crash Team are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred on Tuesday, February 25, in the 5400 block of Baltimore National Pike, 21229. At approximately 10:15 p.m., officers responded to the location following reports of a pedestrian crash. It was later determined that 37-year-old Jessica Davis was attempting to cross Baltimore National Pike when she was struck by a 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC300, which was traveling eastbound at the time. Davis was pronounced deceased on the scene. The driver of the vehicle was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. This crash remains under investigation.
