Detectives Seek Answers in the Unsolved Murder of 23-Year-Old Kitera Bishop
It has been five years since the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Kitera Bishop. Around 1 a.m. on May 16, 2019, someone walked behind Kitera Bishop’s residence and began to fire multiple shots into the family’s TV room. While there were others with Kitera at the time, they survived. For Kitera’s father, talking about this tragedy still brings him to the brink of tears. The question that lingers is: why? Detectives assigned to the Baltimore County Homicide and Missing Persons Cold Case Squad also have some unanswered questions. Both believe the key to closing the case lies in the community.
