Early Morning Crash Remains Under Investigation

At approximately 4:40 a.m., officers assigned to Precinct 11-Essex responded to the area of Pulaski Highway and Ebenezer Road following reports of a multi-vehicle crash. When officers arrived on scene they located a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado and 2020 International MV607 Box Truck that were involved in the incident. Detectives determined the crash occurred when the box truck, entering the intersection from the northbound turn lane of Ebenezer Road, was struck by the Silverado, which was traveling eastbound along Pulaski Highway. The driver and passenger of the box truck were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. 45-year-old Thomas Spearman, the operator of the Silverado, was pronounced deceased on the scene. This crash remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team.
