Persons of Interest Detained

Baltimore County officers have identified persons of interest in reference to last night’s assault in Towson. Detectives are working to determine the detainees’ roles in the crime. Residents and visitors can expect to see a continued police presence in the area.

Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department continue to investigate the stabbing that occurred Wednesday evening in Central Towson. Detectives have conducted interviews throughout the day and worked closely with business partners and the Towson Chamber of Commerce to gather any potential evidence from area surveillance cameras. The Department is also requesting residents who may have video footage of the incident to contact 410-307-2020. Visitors and residents can expect an increased police presence in the Towson area.

Officers from the Towson Precinct are currently on the scene of a stabbing that occurred in the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Rd., 21204. Tonight at approximately 8:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to a fight in progress. Upon arrival, officers learned from witnesses that several juveniles had assaulted an adult victim, who suffered a non-life-threatening laceration. The suspects are described as a group of male and female juveniles. The search for those suspects continues. The victim was transported to a local hospital by a witness for treatment of his injuries. The victim informed officers that this incident began inside the mall when the suspects attempted to take his property and then followed him outside to the parking garage and assaulted him.
As detectives from the Department's Towson Precinct continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident, they ask anyone with information about this crime or the individual(s) who committed it to contact police at 410-307-2020.
