Search for Juvenile Suspect in Rodgers Forge Shooting

Baltimore County detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for a juvenile suspect wanted in connection to the shooting that occurred on Friday, September 13, in the 400 block of Dunkirk Road, 21212. During that attempted robbery, a 50-year-old male was severely wounded. At this time, detectives assigned to the Baltimore County Violent Crimes Unit are actively working to locate the male suspect.

As detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting that occurred in the 400 block of Dunkirk Road, it’s been determined this crime occurred during an attempted robbery. On Friday, officers responded to the scene along Dunkirk following reports of a shooting. Once on scene, they located a 50-year-old male with a single gunshot wound. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this investigation to please contact 911 or Metro Crime Stoppers.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting that occurred on September 13, 2024. Just after 11:30 a.m., officers assigned to the Towson Precinct responded to the 400 block of Dunkirk Rd., 21212, in reference to a reported shooting. When officers arrived on the scene, they located a 50-year-old adult male with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
The Baltimore County Police Department does not release the names of victims involved in non-fatal shootings out of concern for the victim's safety.
As detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit continue to investigate this shooting, they are asking anyone with information about this case to contact 410-307-2020.
