Steven Duane Godwin
HOMICIDE VICTIM, 1984
Baltimore County Police are asking for the public’s help in solving the murder of Steven Duane Godwin, 32. The homicide occurred in the Woodlawn Precinct.
On October 18, 1984 at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers responded to the Corinthian Lounge and Restaurant, located in the 7100 block of Windsor Mill Road 21244 for a stabbing. Officers found Steven Godwin lying in the doorway of the package goods store suffering from a stab wound to the chest. The victim was transported to Baltimore County General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased about 30 minutes after the stabbing.
Steven Godwin was at the Corinthian Lounge and Restaurant for approximately two hours the night he was killed. He said goodbye to his father, who was working at the package goods store, and then walked outside to the parking lot. A short time later, he came back into the store and collapsed into his father’s arms.
