Stephanie Marie Gant-Brady
MISSING SINCE APRIL 8, 1984
Baltimore County Police are asking for the public's help in solving the mystery of a woman who disappeared in 1984. Her name is Stephanie Marie Gant-Brady and she has not been seen since April 8, 1984. She lived in the 4600-block of Horizon Circle, 21207, in the Precinct 2/Woodlawn area.
At the time of her disappearance, her male companion stated that she had gone to London to write a book. But she never obtained a passport, never picked up her paycheck and left all of her personal belongings at her home. Ms. Gant-Brady has multiple sclerosis, and those personal belongings included her cane and her wheelchair.
Ms. Gant-Brady has a number of accomplishments. Among them, she was the first black woman to graduate as a Lieutenant in the Maryland National Guard and she was a member of the Governor's Committee for the Handicapped.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
The missing woman is described as a black female and at the time of her disappearance she was 39 years old, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was 5'3" tall and 110 pounds. She may go by the nickname of Penny and was last seen wearing an opal ring and a pinky ring with a small diamond.
Investigators suspect foul play in the disappearance of Ms. Gant-Brady.
