Is a rabbit the right pet for you?
Rabbits need a large cage to live happy healthy lives. Their cage should be no smaller than 4ft x 2ft x4ft, or a minimum of 12 square feet. The bigger the better!
They need unlimited access to hay and fresh water every day. Pellets should be rationed based on the size of your rabbit. On average, feed your rabbit 1/4th of a cup of pellets for every 4 pounds of weight. Fresh dark leafy greens should be given daily.
All rabbits will require brushing to prevent hairballs. Long hair rabbits need daily brushing and short hair need weekly.
Rabbits love to jump, explore and to be social with their human companions! They love to play with toys and can be a great source of entertainment for their human family.
