Volunteers and Events
Are you interested in walking dogs, caring for cats, or socializing bunnies? If you said “yes” then we need you as a BCAS volunteer.
Whether socializing and exercising our adoptable pets, constructing fun toys for enrichment or spreading the word about our services at off-site events, our volunteers are an integral piece of the Animal Services team. HOW TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER?
To apply to become a volunteer, complete the Animal Services Volunteer Application and return by email to bcasvolunteer@baltimorecountymd.gov, by fax at 410-817-4257, or by mail or in person to:

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS
In order to volunteer, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be committed to the BCAS mission of improving the lives of animals.
- Be willing to volunteer six hours per month or more depending on volunteer position.
EVENT REQUESTS
Interested in hosting an event with us? We love to come out for community events and promote our many great services and adoptable pets. Depending on location, we may be able to have a few of our animals join us for the fun!
