Visitation Center
The Visitation Center provides a neutral location for court-ordered supervised visitation and monitored exchange. The Center serves families in which:
- One of the parents is estranged from his or her children
- There are concerns made about the parent's ability to care for the children
- There are allegations of risk to the children.
REQUIREMENTS
Prior to utilizing either service, both parties are required to complete an intake assessment with the Office of Family Support Services.
SUPERVISED VISITATION
These services are initiated via court order only. The Supervised Visitation Program supervises and objectively reports the observations made during each visit back to the referring Judge. The Center will oversee a limited number of visits, and eventually, the parties must make other visitation arrangements.
MONITORED EXCHANGE
The Monitored Exchange Program provides a neutral and safe location for the exchange of children for visitation when parents cannot or should not have contact with one another.
