Maryland Works for Wind
Maryland Works for Wind (MWW) is a regional consortium of employers, unions, local workforce development areas, business alliances and training providers committed to drive economic development by connecting underrepresented populations to good-paying careers. Through robust training and apprenticeship programs, students are prepared to enter careers in manufacturing, construction and transportation, distribution and logistics on career pathways structured to grow and expand to other developing industries.

Eligibility
If you’re eager to apply, training and apprenticeship programs only require that you:
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Able to pass a drug test
- Are authorized to work in the United States
Program Services
Some training and apprenticeship programs have support services to get you through the training and into a career that can lead you to a self-sustaining, high quality of life. Services include:
- Child-care aid
- Criminal record expungement
- Financial aid
- Tools and work attire
- Transportation aid
