Office of Community Engagement
County Executive Johnny Olszewski is committed to strengthening our government's engagement with Baltimore County residents. As part of his commitment, he has reorganized the way his office interacts with the public.
OUR STAFF
Mandy Remmell, the Director of Community Engagement, is responsible for developing a strategic plan to enhance engagement, managing the office's day-to-day operations, as well as managing the Executive Office’s appointments to boards and commissions and assisting with the Executive Office’s special initiatives.
The Office of Community Engagement has dedicated Outreach Coordinators, each assigned to a single Council district to ensure greater coverage, coordination and response. Each Outreach Coordinator manages casework for their district and constituent services, and is responsible for representing the County Executive at various community events and meetings. Outreach Coordinators will also engage with community, business and faith-based organizations, as well as other stakeholders.
