Multifamily Single Stream Recycling Program
According to Maryland law, each property owner or manager of an apartment building, or a council of unit owners of a condominium with 10 or more units, is required to provide recycling for the residents of the dwelling units. Baltimore County is here to help multifamily communities comply with state law via the Multifamily Recycling Program, which will:
- Provide education, outreach and training to multifamily property owners, managers, staff and residents
- Reduce waste, prevent food and unwanted items contamination
- Promote recycling at apartments and condominiums
- Provide recycling tote bags to participating communities
If you are a property owner or manager, and do not currently have a multifamily recycling program in place, email William Olfson at wolfson@baltimorecountymd.gov.
