The Sheriff's Office is announcing a new salary plus bonuses for Deputy Sheriffs. New employees can receive up to $6,000 for signing and $51,619 to $70,014 annually. Lateral transfers may apply.
QUALIFICATIONS
Interested applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Have a high school diploma, GED or an appropriate equivalent
- Be at least 21 years of age at the time you submit your application
- Satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical agility test and doctor's certification of fitness
- Must be a citizen/applied for citizenship of the United States
- Must be of good moral character and emotionally stable, as determined by:
- A comprehensive background investigation
- Polygraph examination
- Psychological screening
- Periodic drug testing
