The Employee Health Center (EHC) not only helps with Baltimore County's commitment to one of the our top priorities—improving the overall health and well-being of our workforce—it also helps with health-related absenteeism and gaps in care, and reduces employees' out-of-pocket healthcare costs. We couldn’t ask for a better, more trusted partner than Cigna Evernorth to provide high-quality, cost-effective care at the EHC.
ABOUT THE CENTER
The 1,600-square-foot EHC, operated by Cigna Evernorth, includes:

Two state-of-the-art exam rooms

A waiting area

Office space
The EHC is staffed by a highly-trained Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse Health Coach and a Medical Assistant.
Available SERVICES
The EHC offers a comprehensive range of primary and urgent care services, providing convenience care for County employees at no cost, regardless of their insurance carrier. Services for employees include the following and more:

Prescription refills—The provider has the ability to write prescriptions as needed. Prescriptions can be sent electronically to your preferred local pharmacy.

Employees have access to MyChart, a secure patient portal that makes it easy to:

Schedule an Appointment with a Nurse Practitioner or health coach
Appointments are available both virtually and in person, and can be scheduled quickly and easily via the MyChart patient portal or by calling the EHC.
Walk-in appointments will be allowed based on provider availability. Walk-ins after 2 p.m. are encouraged to call the EHC as provider availability may be limited.
Note: If you don’t have a MyChart account, you will be prompted to create one after scheduling your appointment.
Confidentiality
Your EHC must comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). HIPAA privacy and security rules ensure your protected health information (PHI) remains private and secure and may only be released according to state and federal law, or as authorized by you.
